• The 5350 Manual Heavy Wire Wedge Bonder can process Aluminium wire from 100 to 500 μM (0.004" - 0.020").

• An outstanding feature of the 5350 is an automatic wire cutting unit which guarantees perfectly reproducible wire cuts at single micron precision without any risk of component damage. Thanks to a motorized Y-axis with 25mm of travel in addition to the motorized Z axis, it also offers perfectly identical bond tails through a programmable, automatic step-back.

• Bond wedges of 2” length permit access even to the large, deep housings used in automotive electronics. The patented self-adjusting wire guides make changing wire sizes literally a snap.

• Even complicated loop forms including reverse loops and stitch bonds are easily acheived with minimum operator influence.

• User interface is via a colour display and shuttle-wheel making programming of the machine very easy.

• Parameters can be saved to the internal hard disc drive.

• The 5350 software boasts several operating modes from a fully manual step-by-step mode to a production mode where the operator only has to move to the bond positions and then pushes a single button. Only a minimum of training is required.
